ABOUT CORNELL COMMUNITY CENTRE
Cornell Community Centre and Library, located on Bur Oak Avenue at Church Street beside Markham Stouffville Hospital, opened on December 17, 2012. The 129,000 sq. ft. LEED Silver-certified facility offers a health and fitness centre, indoor playground, youth centre, three pools (including a therapy pool, water slide, and splash pad), a triple gym, multi-sensory room, rental spaces, and a 200-seat performance hall. The state-of-the-art library features medical resources, youth areas, and study rooms, promoting education, wellness, inclusion, and accessibility.
